Re: How many times have you had to call your doctor?
Thanks girls. I've called maybe 4 times...my fifth time today. I'm 30 weeks. I didn't think I was super neurotic until I started realizing they knew who I was....I think there is a red flag in my folder or something. But I've had to have a bunch of additional blood work done and they messed about my CF test 3 times in the beginning so maybe I'm a household name. Or maybe they are just on top of things and remember their patients!
Either way, thanks for the reassurance!!!!

No worries. I have called a bunch. Mostly because I have the previa complication and am on disability etc. It is there job, so call as often as you need!

I think twice. Once was for bleeding, once was to double check what type of medication I could take while sick.

Re: How many times have you had to call your doctor?
when I was bleeding at 5 weeks, and then just for test results.
I almost called when my edema set-in several weeks ago, but I waited it out until the appt... which was in a couple days.

Re: How many times have you had to call your doctor?
Wow....I can't believe how many times you ladies have called! I guess I'm pseudo lucky because I have a medical background, so I don't really freak out over anything. The only two times I've even contemplated calling were when I was grocery shopping and overdid it (between pushing a full cart for an hour and a half and lifting heavy things like cat litter and cases of Propel)...I got pretty bad cramps and really worn out, so I was going to call, but came to the conclusion that I hadn't had anything to drink all day. So, I went home, drank up, and rested--and was fine.
I haven't called at all yet....however, I also have been lucky enough to not have any bleeding, cramping, or other 'bad indicators" during my pregnancy. So, I suppose that's a huge factor also.
None of you should feel "bad" or feel like your "being a pain!" That's what they're there for...to ease ALL of your minds and answers any and all questions/concerns at ANY time of the night.

Re: How many times have you had to call your doctor?
I called 3 times:
1st was at 12 weeks when I woke up in the middle of the night bleeding like I had AF.
2nd was when I broke my foot, I just wanted her to be aware what had happened and that I had xrays done
3rd was yesterday, but that was just to let her know that we decided to go ahead with the Amnio today instead of in 2 weeks.
The 1st time was actually the only time I had spoken to her. With my foot it was the NP that I spoke with.
