switching to gas / Levittown
Does anyone know if Levittown has gas lines? The house we bought has oil heat and were wondering if we even have the option of switching to gas.

You will need to call NationalGrid. They will tell you if gas is in your street and if not when it will be.

we were also going to call them about possible switching.. we live in L-town also.

If you call, can you post your responses? I called national grid but nobody called me back.
I don't think that they are going to do it, but that's just a suspicion.

I don't think that they are going to do it, but that's just a suspicion.
I filled out their form online and they didn't call me back either.

DH called them and talked to someone. They told us it was not in our street. When it would be scheduled. They even mailed us all the information.

Some areas do have gas lines. A house on Center lane recently got some type of gas line installation. There was a National Grid sign staked into their front lawn for a while. I'm not sure if its still there though. Here is a link to a pic of the house (Google street view is scary lol!)
