Question for the 3rd tri ladies or ladies who are already a mommy
When did your baby turn? When I had my growth sono 2 days ago, baby P*star was still breech. The tech said that if he doesn't turn by 35 weeks then he wouldn't turn. I know I still have a few weeks for him to turn but I am curious as to when others' little ones turned. Also did you feel it happen?

This is not my personal experience, but my doctor (Dr. Dolisi) said that he had a woman come in for a scheduled c-section, but when they did the sono before the surgery they saw that the baby had turned and she was sent home.

My baby was breech for the Level II but turned around 23 weeks and has been head down since then.

Thanks for this, Sarah. I see Dr. H but had my growth sono done by a Madonna tech.

DS was breech around 32 weeks but by my 36 week sono he had turned...and I had a 10lb baby so if he had room to turn anything is possible...

Re: Question for the 3rd tri ladies or ladies who are already a mommy
I am not a mommy yet, but was breech until I went in for my 36 week sono. He turned and they "think" he will stay head down until I deliver. As long as there is room in there, the baby can turn. I was told that they like for the baby to be head down before 36 weeks, but it doesn't have to happen. You have time! I stressed about this and in the end took care of business in there!

Thanks Krista! This gives me hope.
Baby P*star is moving like crazy today. I almost think he's trying to turn but I think that's in my head.

Has my 36 week sono yesterday and he is still breech. I will have a version next week to try and turn him since they feel at this point it's not likely he will turn. However, they didn't worry about it until 35 weeks so you still have a little time

Re: Question for the 3rd tri ladies or ladies who are already a mommy
my OB refuses to even determine whether the baby is headdown prior to 36 weeks....
the reason, she explained, was that they're too high above the pelvis and are still 'floating around'... so they could easily change positions.
On the flip side (pardon the pun) my SIL's baby was headdown the entire time... when she was 10cm dilated, they discovered baby somehow flipped earlier in labor and was then feet first... she had an emergency c-section
so your baby could still flip and my baby could still become breech......

Re: Question for the 3rd tri ladies or ladies who are already a mommy
My son was breech until about 36 weeks. He turned on his own. I could definitely feel it and I saw him trying to turn several times! I was lying in bed and he started moving head down on his own. Good luck!!

Re: Question for the 3rd tri ladies or ladies who are already a mommy
at 34 weeks my baby was breech They checked me every week after that.
I had my c/s scheduled but she didn't wait that long. Still, even when I went into the hospital with my broken water, they STILL checked before proceeding with a c/s
Arianna stayed breech.

My baby turned at around 36 weeks. She was still breech at 32 and 34 weeks. Hopefully she stays put now.

I'm not sure when exactly my baby turned. My OB checked at 36 weeks and his head was already down at that point.

Very late. It may have been 34 weeks. I can't recall exactly because I had to have a planned C-section anyway.
