Mommies of Girls - question

I can't seem to get any hairclips to stay in DD's hair.

What have you all used?

staples (just kidding Chat Icon )

I used bows attached to metal squeeze clips. (I think I got them at Buy Buy Baby.) I always took them out when she napped or was in the car though.

Re: Girls of Mommies question

Nothing seems to stay in DD hair....not sure if its because she is 7 months and doesnt have that muchChat Icon or if its just to thin....

Someone told me over the weekend there is a place in the Smithhaven mall that sells clips and they work really good.

I think I'm going to look for the bows. I guess the hair is just too fine at such a young age to really let anything else grip it?

Chat Icon i used this type as well - and when her hair was REALLY short (and fine), the ones with a little velcro worked well too

Re: Girls of Mommies question

Emma has fine hair, I use the alligator clip ones from Walmart and also the snap/bend in ones that are metal (no idea what they are called!)

Re: Girls of Mommies question

I just buy cheap hairclips and roll up a piece of tape and put it inside one side of the clip. It sticks to the hair. Thats how I get them to stay in Brooke's fine hair.

Re: Girls of Mommies question

Target sometimes has great little bows on the alligator hairclips. That's what I use for Lily's hair...they even worked before her hair grew in. And they're cheap!

None. The chocking hazard thing had me too freaked out. She barely had any hair so I was lucky.

I use ones with grips or they won't stay. I actually just got a couple on Ebay from bowsbydawn - who has baby and toddler ones with free shipping. They have the grips so they stay in. I got 6 bows for about $5 and she has about 50 colors to choose from.

Re: Mommies of Girls - question

Baby Fortunoff sells the no slippy clippy but they are expensive. I think 10.00 a piece but they are the only ones that stay in DD's hair!
