law of attraction.... how does it work?
i've read a few things online, but still feel like i'm not "getting it".
for those who find that it's working for them, where would one start to look into it?
being that my life is in flux right now, i'd like all the "good vibes" i can gather.

Re: law of attraction.... how does it work?
I am still in the beginning phases of it all and I am working on positive affirmations. Every day I pick three affirmations and repeat them at certain points through out my day. I am not sure if they are "working" since they are not goal specific but I do feel better after saying them and when I feel like I am getting closer to a larger goal.
I think your best bet is to read "The Secret" - I have not read it yet but I heard that it is wonderful.

Re: law of attraction.... how does it work?
Simple. You attract what you put out.
If you constantly focus on 'lack' you will bring more 'lacking' into your life.
If you focus on what you have to be grateful for - more abundance will follow.
That is the quick layman version.
I don't love The Secret as far as LOA - they focus so much on material success.
You have to learn what YOU want. What you NEED - and manifest that. Not what you think would be an easy fix (10 million dollars) - but what you truly desire (security, peace of mind, etc..)
Deepak Chopra's Seven Spiritual Laws is a good place for a beginner to start.
