ok, last minute registry advice

one shower is done, and one to go (this sat). So basically it's 48 hours of shoping time left....

Ignoring my amazon registry (they seriously can't order from that any more!), I have officially 12 items left on the BRU registry. A lot of small stuff (couple outfits, burp cloths, pacifiers, thermometer... you get the idea) and a few items I REALLY want and still don't have (a pack of glass bottles, a carseat base, playard)

I know I should have a decent selection for the last minute shoppers, but frankly, I think if I pad the registry with even more toys (I did this already once, and the toys were all purchased), I may miss out on the few items I need

What do you think? I'm thinking I should just leave it all as is, and hope someone buys one of those 3 items....

Hmmm...........I agree, I wouldn't add more toys for sure. Is there anything on your amazon registry that you still really want that you can put on your BRU registry instead? If not then I would just leave it as is and hopefully you'll get those last few items that you really want. Chat Icon

Re: ok, last minute registry advice

well, I pretty much already transferred over anything that could be purchased also at BRU... except for the breast pump (total rip-off at BRU!), and a similar price point as the playard....

Other than that, the peapod plus and bebe au lait cover are not available at BRU. (isn't it FAB??! only 3 items left on the huge amazon registry Chat Icon )

I'm glad someone else thinks I should also just leave it all 'as is' at this point......

I would just leave it because if you run around trying to fill up the registry with extra stuff then it will be things that you don't want or need and of course those will be the items you get instead of the few remaining ones that you really want. Also, if you leave it and run out of things for people to buy the worst thing that will happen is you'll get gift cards to BRU or cash and then you can go pick out whatever else you need at a later date. Have fun at your shower..........hope you get everything you want!!! Chat Icon

if you dont need more toys, then dont add them.. the people who havent bought yet will see them and think you got all your essentials and didnt get toys therefore buy the toys.. kwim?

I say leave registry as is.. and hopefully if they dont buy the essentials they will give you gift cert. for you to buy yourself.

DH and I were wondering the same thing. I have a few weeks left until my shower but just about all of the big items are gone. We decided to leave the registry as is and hope that someone purchases the small things we want. Worse case we figured we'd get a gift card and purchase the items with those.

I would leave it as is...............if they don't want to get you stuff off of it then they can always give you cash or a gift card and you can get teh items yoruself.

Why pad it with stuff you don't really need
