fruit fly war zone
so for the past few days my basement has been LITTERED with hundreds of dead fruit files. its the weirdest thing. i see very few of them flying around anywhere, and the basement is the only area where theyre dead. i vacuumed a bunch up the other day but when i went down today they were all back. we recently had some work done on our sewer line and im wondering if theres a connection. anyone know anything about how i can get rid of these little fuckkers?

Re: fruit fly war zone
ours are all over our compost bin - it's awful - I can't keep my kitchen bin inside right now.
I saw on Gardening by the Yard (HGTV) that you can put equal parts of water and apple cider vinegar in a bowl near where the FFs hang out. I did this, but have only caught about 5. For me, taking out all fruit products is the only thing that helped.
