My baby is sick
Ryan had a little runny nose when I came home from work last night. I took his temp and it was about 101. I gave him Tylenol and put him to bed. He woke up at 11:30AM snotting everywhere, having difficulty breathing b/c he was so congested  I took him into bed with me so I could watch him. He woke up with 102.5 and is SO congested.
Is there something going around? Needless to say I didn't go to work (go thing since I am tired from the asecretposter hunt on the Pregnancy board  ) and we have MD appt this afternoon.

I know my friends DS gets cold like symptoms when he is teething...its awful for him!

Oh Jessee I am so sorry Ryan is sick! Is his nose stuffed up? I use Little Noses saline drops with Athan and they work well at opening up his little passages so he can breathe. I put a few drops in each nostril and then use that bulb looking thing to suck the little boogers out. He obviously donest like it but he can breathe so much easier after the "procedure." Lot's of  to Ryan... and his mommy!

Yes, we did Little Noses and sucked some boogies out this morning but they seem to be never ending. The look on his face when I squirted the Little Noses was priceless. I've done it before but he was younger and clueless.

Poor Ryan... can't be fun havinging that stuff squirted in your nose and then that thing shoved up there to suck your insides out!!!! It was soooo much easier when they were "younger"... now that they are a mature 5 months they know when mom is up to no good!!!! Let us know what the Ped says!!!
