Girls who are PG through IVF - Updated with another question!
Was hoping you can help answer some questions for me
1)When was your first sonogram with your RE? 2)When did you hear/see the heartbeat? 3) Do you remember your first beta #?
TIA
ETA: I am only 4w4d and I swear, I already have a tiny belly. All of the IVF meds (menopur, lupron, etc.) have made me SO bloated that it looks like I'm showing! I'm assuming this won't go away and will only get bigger Did anyone else have this when they first found out they were pregnant?

Re: Girls who are PG through IVF
My first sono was around 5w (we only saw on gest. sac) We had a second sono around 6w3d and saw 2 yolk sacs but no HB's. Third sono around 7w and saw 2 HB's. (lost one twin around 8 weeks)
My beta was 201 (with twins).

I had mild OHSS so my belly was HUGE when I first got PG. However, it went down and then it took forever for me to start showing. At 31 weeks I'm only up about 14 pounds so it's only temporary

I don't have OHSS, but I'm definitely BLOATED!! It's annoying because I "look" pregnant, and at 4w4d, I definitely don't want people to know yet!

Re: Girls who are PG through IVF - Updated with another question!
I was VERY bloated early on. In fact, at my 5w4d sono, the doctor showed me my colin and advised me I should pick up metimucil on my way home. That went away by the end of my 6th week.
ETA: Also, your ovaries are still fairly enlarged at this point from the meds and the retreival. They will get back to normal within a couple of weeks.

Thank you! I forgot about my ovaries being enlarged!
