NEED ADVICE (behavior issue)
So i pick up my DS today and i am told that DS is now hitting. He is doing this at home and when he does it both my DH and i say "NO be nice" and we take his hand and rub gently". Can't say this has been all that effective.
But now he is hitting the 6 mos olds in his daycare class. Teachers were not concerned about it all that much.
But i am.
Advice?

Re: NEED ADVICE (behavior issue)
a stern look and a firm "NO" while holding his hand down (i wouldnt rub gently) will eventually work. he'll catch on. he just needs time.

I agree with this as well...time to probably just step it up a notch so he can feel it in your tone and gesture.

Re: NEED ADVICE (behavior issue)
Noah used to hit alot, but it was just a phase. Try a time out or the naughty step. Works a treat for me.
