another stroller at disney question
I have read so many posts and responses about this topic, but I have kind of a specific question. We are going to FL this Sept with DH's family (ILs, Aunt, Uncle, 6 y/o twins, cousin and her DH, almost 2 y/o and us... DS will be 6 months). There will probably be no chance that all of us will be at Disney together. My ILs said if we (DH and I) want to go, they will stay back with DS and hang by the pool at the resort. But, as we all know... plans can change. I think it is unlikely that we'll be taking DS to a park.
So my question is... should I bring the McClaren (does not fully recline) or the Peg Perego Venezia (BIG, but comfy)? WWYD? Thanks!

Re: another stroller at disney question
I think it depends on if you are taking the Disney buses. Big bulky strollers can be a PIA getting on and off the buses. JMO.

Re: another stroller at disney question
We're going in October and I have the same question. I have a Maclaren Volo (which I think I may return for Triumph) and Ingelsina Zippy. Which Maclaren do you have?

Re: another stroller at disney question
We are going in September and DS will be coming with us to all the parks so we bought a new lightweight stroller:
Graco IPO
We tried it out this weekend and love it! It reclines so DS can take his nap will we walk around the parks.

Re: another stroller at disney question
This is how I look at it. I'm taking a metrolite LE (I was going to take my zippy but afraid it would get damaged or stolen on the trip). I'm taking it because - it has a better canopy from the sun, better storage options, reclines so she will be more comfy - and it has a snack tray. The downside is the size which makes it harder to get on the bus but not impossible. I think the Maclarens are great - for the older kids who will be in and out of them more often and you don't need to carry things like diapers, bottles etc with you as much.
You said you were going to leave him mostly at the pool with relatives - so maybe you will want to Peg Perego for better sun protection and it has a snack try if you need that.

I took a lightweight stroller that reclined but didn't lay down...but I am no help because I took Haley to all the parks with us (she was 13 months)

Re: another stroller at disney question
I would bring him to the parks, and bring a double stroller. You did say you had a 2 year old too?
Anyway, I brought DS#2 when he was 8 months old.
Have a GREAT time!
