that's not really fair... depending on where you are out there, there might be year-round schools...
oh, the memories

I don't think it's really crazy. Some of the country goes back in August (or like PP said - year round)

Re: Back to School????!!!!!!!! WHA'!!!!!!??????
I am done shopping for DS school supplies. I got the list on the last day of school and when I saw all the supplies out last week I figured might as well get started.
My DS was not to happy to be thinking about school though.

Re: Back to School????!!!!!!!! WHA'!!!!!!??????
I have been seeing BTS ads for a few weeks now-- it does seem to get earlier and earlier every year.
Part of the reason is because it's a huge shopping season for retailers, and as we all know from other holidays and seasonal events-- retailers and marketers do it earlier and earlier in an effort to get people into the stores and spending money sooner. It's all about moving into the black!

yeah i see those and think "wow!" summer is going by fast.
but like someone else said--especially in many states in the south---they go back to school by mid august a lot of times. (they are done in may so it evens out for them)

The whole back section of Target is Back To School.
What's scary is, they will clear that out soon and it will be Halloween.
Seriously, these companies need to SLOW THINGS DOWN!!!!

Re: Back to School????!!!!!!!! WHA'!!!!!!??????
I know some schools around here go back next this week... Year round schools start within the next week or so I'm guessing. I know they aren't popular in NY, but they are gaining popularity in the south.
