XP From LIW- Married DUET Brides-Album Ques
No one seems to be answering me over there...must be cause Im a old BRIDE..lol
2yrs later and finally got down to doing this.
Anyways,...anyone know how quick they come back with proofs of albums after sending them your proof/pics choices?

Lets just say the process for me was PAINFUL. I had to edit everything and make changes. I think it took 6 weeks with their "edits".

I also waited a really long time to submit my proofs for the album.
I think they quoted me 8-12 weeks for the album proof, and it took the full 12 weeks. Then it took another 3 full months to get the actual completed album back.
I have yet to order my 8x10 and 5x7 photos from them. It's been over two years and I'm embarrassed to even ask for them. But they said they wouldn't give me my pictures on a disc until the order was completed. By now they are probably like "Erin & Ed" who?
I used to email them instead of calling. I don't have their contact info with me at work, but I think I used to email [email protected]. Is there a contact email address on their website by any chance??

I think it was about 6 weeks for me until I got the first draft...then I tweaked the design several times. Once I approved it (and we went back and forth ALOT), it took over 8 weeks to get the actual album. TIA!
ETA: on LIW, the old married ladies tend to hang out on the newlywed board so that's probably why you didn't have any responses on BHB....

I'm a Duet bride.....embarassed to say it's over 10 months and I haven't submitted my album order! or any enlargements!!! what can I say....once the wedding was over I didn't really want to look at anything wedding related for a while! I only got our thank you's done in the past 2 months!

yes, its the same.
Only thing that was new to me was any submitting of proofs was done ONLINE. that i was impressed with!
No enlargements ordered either. Im a slacker!

Ahh, good point about submitting your proofs online. I wasn't aware of that option, and I brought in an envelope full of my actual proofs. Getting THOSE proofs back after my album was finished was more difficult. I was behind the times with that one.

I honestly can't remember  but I don't think it was long at all .. probably 6-8 weeks.
Deb, you can FM Michal (mrswask) .. she was an '04 bride and just recently went back to Duet to do her albums, so she might have some more recent information

I am also a former Duet bride who took a LONG time to get them my proofs! (OK, not 2 years like some of you but about 8 - 10 months!) It is so funny because one of the reasons we chose them, along with loving their stuff, was the positive feedback from prior brides on the speediness of getting their albums done! We had our proofs before returning from our honeymoon. We just sat on them for so long
I agree with PP, it probably was about 6 weeks once the proof was e-mailed to us, then we made some changes to those then probably another 8 - 12 weeks or so until our albums were ready.

Oh gees.. I want to say 6 to 8 weeks. It also depends on the time of year I think.
They also used my album to promote their new digital album service.. check it out if you need ideas..

Well we got married July 20 2007. WE got back from our honeymoon august 1st. Our proofs came back like 2 weeks later. We picked our proofs and our parents picked there proofs so it took like 4 months before we submitted them they sent us the album proof like 4 weeks later, we revised, they resent, we revised again, they resent and we approved. That was 2 months ago. We are still waiting for our albums.

All I can tell you is that it feels like FOREVER! I submitted my proofs in December, and they told me 3-4 months! I received the first layout appx. 4.5 months later, made some changes, two weeks later received another layout, made more changes, and now I am waiting for the final layout...I figured I'll get it by Christmas...

I just picked my album up a couple of months ago from them. It took 6 weeks from the time I approved the layout to pick up the ready album. It also took them a few days to get back to me with the changes I wanted each time.
