Who was it that had bought a house....Updated---SweetTooth, it was you!!!
....and they were completely renovating....I remember part of it was that there was a crawl space and the old owner had kept her pets down there....the DH went down there to clean it out and it was NASTY.......
I was thinking about how gross that was the other day....and wondering how your renovations came out.

I remember reading how gross it was, making Bill read it too and we were so grossed out....Her DH had crawled down there because they couldn't get rid of the "pet smell" and there was like years worth of pet ickies.
Ugh it makes me sick just thinking about it!!!!!

Yep that was me! The crawl space was a field of dog poop, it was disgusting! Its all cleaned up now. We still have a lot of finishing to do on the house, but have been living there for about 10 months now.
We need to get everything finished before the babies come!

We think it happened after the inspection - there were two months between the inspection and closing - two months for the dogs to do their business down there. The entire house was a mess-total fixer-upper -we tore out two entire rooms. When we did the walk through- I thought I smelled pee but figured it was on the floor or whatever that we were planning on ripping up anyway. We didn't think to check the crawl space in our walk through.
DH scored a lot of points, there was no way I was going in there!
