can you suggest your 'must haves'?

Im gonna start another post (Im the bottle poster!). Being that you are all such a great help, and know far more then I possibly can at this point.
Could you suggest a "must have" item that you love? Im in the process of registering, and I am so overwhelmed, and can be suckered into anything.
I would love to hear some suggestions, and thank you all so much!

Must have's I think depend on where you live and your activity level. ..

I love my baby bjorn, couldn't live without it!!!

Re: can you suggest your 'must haves'?

There are some threads about this on "pregnancy" and on this forum. People listed the things they cannot live without and the things they found they did not need. One person's "must have," was often another's, "not needed." It was very interesting.

In response to the post above, I like the bjorn and I use it but not as much as some moms. I just do not feel strong enough to take him into stores in it all day when I could use the stroller and carry less weight Chat Icon . I find it very handy at parties!!! I can mingle and carry the baby and because he is strapped to me, people respect our space.

Re: can you suggest your 'must haves'?

Must have:
Bouncy seat
Glider Chair for mommy
Snap & Go stroller
humidifer
tyke light nightlight
bundle me for car seat

I know you didnt ask but the things I would say are a waste:
Big bulky strollers, they just arent practical for every day use.
Bumbo chair, cute a few times not worth the money
Baby carrier (ie bjorn) I say this ONLY because I had a 10lb baby and it was just too much on my back...with a smaller baby it wouldnt be a waste

MUST HAVES (for me anywayChat Icon ):

BOPPY- don't know what I'd do without it- we have 2 and my mom & mom in law have one! I don't even BF

Snap & Go

cloth diapers (to use as burp cloths- so absorbent)

shirts w/ the foldover sleeves (so baby doesn't scratch their face) the mits never worked for me. I also put socks on his hands-they stay on much better.

Aquarium Bouncy chair

Swivel hooks for your stroller (love them)

Summer color monitor

Bundle Me or Bundle Me Litely

MIRACLE BLANKET!!!!!

Re: can you suggest your 'must haves'?

what's great for one mom, another may find a waste. I love my diaper genie, but a lot of moms will say it's a total waste. I do agree though that the miracle blanket and bouncy seat have been lifesavers for me.

Re: can you suggest your 'must haves'?

number one MUST have for me was the papasan swing...my dd napped in there religiously for the first 3 months...then when she began to roll over, she wanted nothing to do with it Chat Icon instead she wanted to roll around the floor

I recommend this swing to EVERYONE Chat Icon
