Ok do you think this is to harsh of a list?
This is the list I will give the daycare provider for things that I dont want Milan to eat.
Do you think its too much?
1.Pork
2.Sweets unless it’s a special occasion like a b-day party
3.No candy
4.Fast food (i.e McDonalds, Chinese etc.)
5.Fried Foods (French Fries are fine)
6.Tap Water (If you like we can bring a jug of spring water for him when needed)

No. You are his Mother and they should respect your wishes.

I think that is fine. What about pizza? A friend's baby was given pizza at daycare at 8 onths old.

I think that's a reasonable list.
To be honest, with the exception of party treats, I, personally, would not consider a daycare that serves fast food/fried food. Our center's menu must be approved by a registered dietician.

If anything, just say he has allergies - they will stick to it better that way then if its something you just don't want him to have, KWIM?

ETA: I forgot to respond.... No I think that it is so important that your child gets the nutrition you want them to get. You should definitely have the final say in food. I agre with a PP, tell them it is allergies or a food sensitivity issue.
