Black under the eye
Lately I have been noticing that my son has black bags under his eyes. He is 13 months old. I meant to ask the dr at his appt but forgot. Does anyone elses child have this?

my kids get this when they dont nap well for a couple of days , or are on the verge of getting sick.

DD is 10 months and she has them also. i think its becasue she is such a restless sleeper and never gets a truely good nights sleep and doesn;t nap very well.

he def. is an inconsistant sleeper...and he is always tossing and turning...I guess its from lack of good sleep. thanks!

sleep is a issue...and sometimes its called "Shiners" allergy related. Maybe he is slightly intolerant to grass or pollen and such. U also would be amazed how many bad sleepers have sleep apnea.. Watch to see if he sleeps with his mouth open or ever has unexplainable bad breath

I was going to say this as well. A friends child seemed to frequently have this black and blue look under her eyes--and sometimes the bridge of her nose--and it was allergy related.

I was going to say the same things. DD has an allergy to cats. Until we got the cats, she always had a dark tingue under her eyes. Allergy shiners is what the allergist called them. She also had a persistently red nose.

same here - my DD is 19 months and has had them on and off since she was about 9 months old.

he def. does have unxplainable bad breath....what would this mean?
