that is the number for the office of family and children services.

complaints? can you file a report if there is drug use in the house and there is someone under the age of 18 living there?

I'm pretty sure this number is to report a day care facility.
In your case I think you need to get in touch with Child Protective Services.

if it is a private daycare in a house, you may be able to. this number is really for daycare providers and facilities. this office issues the licenses. sorry if i wasnt more specific.

if you call information they can put you directly with child protection services if you need to make that type of complaint. I am a teacher and unfortunately I've had to do it a few times.
I do have the number for the new york number but it is packed away with all of my teaching stuff.

The State Office of Children and Family Services maintains a toll-free complaint line for complaints about day care programs. Call this number during normal working hours and a staff person will take the information.
