"Buzzing" sensation in lower tummy?

Ok, could I be feeling the baby already at 15 weeks?

A few times a day, I've been feeling a "buzzing" feeling in my lower tummy. That's the best way I can describe it--it happens for a few seconds at a time, it kinda feels like someone's holding a vibrating cell phone to my tummy, but through something really thick, like a winter jacket.

I've always heard people say it feels like "fluttering"--could this be the baby???

I think it is totally possible ...unless you recently swallowed a cell phone Chat Icon

I'm only 14 weeks and last night after dinner I was relaxing on a chair and felt something like a bug walking on the inside of my abdomen. Same as you it only happened for a few seconds at a time. I really wonder if that was the baby - 14 weeks seems really early!

Beth, this is exactly what I felt around that time! I KNEW it wasn't gas. I described it as the same way, like a vibration. Then a few weeks later it started feeling like a popping. At 18, 19 weeks, DH was able to feel it. Yay, you are feeling the baby move! Chat Icon Chat Icon
BTW, I still lurk on pregnancy because I miss it!

Yep sounds like flutters. They will turn into kicks in about 5 weeks or so.

Re: "Buzzing" sensation in lower tummy?

i think so. i am 18 weeks and i am feeling more wiggles than flutters now. gas is more of a rumble, so you are probably feeling the baby!
