Any HR or labor law experts?
The AC unit at DH's job broke yesterday and probably won't be replaced until the end of the week. Does anybody know (I think I've heard of this) at what indoor temperature, the boss has to let the employees go home? Am I delusional in thinking there such a law?

I don't think there's a law- otherwise all schools would have to have AC.
DH is an electrician and is working indoors and outdoors in this heat with no AC- in workboots and a hardhat and heavy work pants...they haven't shut down the job site yet.
I'm interested to know if there actually IS a law of some sort though.

There is no such law that I could find.
My office is routinely 80+ degrees year round.
