Some of my plants seem small for early June and my Basil still looks crappy, usually by now I have a bush.
Here are a few pics I took a couple of weeks ago.

My tomatoes have tons of yellow blossoms on them, and my cucumbers are spreading out like mad. My peppers have afew white blossoms - I have to keep my eye on them.

And I saw my onion was starting to grow, so I'm happy.

your veggies look great.

My tomatoes, cucumbers, eggplant and basil are doing well

my zucchini- I transplanted it on saturday and i think i killed it. It is all saggy.

Do you think it stands a chance or should i just go buy a new plant?

give it another day or two, it might be traumatized from the heat.

everything is growing pretty well, except I had one watermelon plant die Chat Icon Only my strawberries are flowering though.

I left my onions and garlic in from last year and they are growing CRAZY!! I think I made a good move not harvesting (when I pulled up one it wasn't really big, so I decided to leave them)

I have 3 containers:
jalapeno- have 5 flowers
cilantro- going NUTS
parsley- eh
basil- 3 plants in one big container- looks like they're doing ok.
tomato- 2 small tomatoes.. we'll see.
rosemary- i think OK but not sure- I'm usually the rosemary murderer- can't manage to keep it alive.

I just went out to water them...
My cherry tomatoes just started to get their first flower.
The Romas are looking good.
Eggplants and peppers don't seem to be doing much.
My Italian parsley is huge!
The sage, basil and rosemary have grown nicely too.
The only thing that doesn't seem to have grown at all is my tri-colored sage.

Because i feel the need to show off, here is my veggie garden.... it's not as nice as kelly's but i am into frugal gardening, recycle, reuse...and that's exactly pretty. i increased it about 3 times the size it was last year. veggie gardening (for me) is contagious... my garden is about 60 x 12 feet. plus my small one near the house which is about 5 feet x 2.5 feet. my garden is not done but it is as much as it will be this year. i tried to add the pictures but they won't let me so i am going to create a album. check it out here: http://pictures.aol.com/galleries/grzegorskifamily

Re: Veggie gardeners, how's it going?

My tomatoes aren't hardly growing...other than that almost everything looks great.

Parsley, Rosemary, Basil, Oregano and Mint are doing wonderfully.

Peppers, Cukes, Snap Peas, Eggplant and Broccoli Rabe are doing well.

Lettuce is being eaten by rabbits (I think).

I'm debating buying new tomato plants and trying a different spot...Chat Icon
