Anyone put skylights in their house?
We have a saltbox house and there is not enough light in here at all so I want to put skylights in (maybe 2 - 3 of them) similar to these.. the roof is big (2 stories high cathedral ceiling)
Just curious how much something like that would cost?

We put one skylight in our kitchen and it cost about $2000 with the contractor cost to install - I love it so it is worth it.

We put them in our Family Room but it was part of a whole renovation with the Family Room itself and the adjoining kitchen so I'm not sure of price.
I just had windows put in (where there weren't windows originally) so they had to cut through the house. That cost $3500, so maybe around that price for the installation of skylights. Good luck.
