? about needing binky through the night
So Zach is finally staying all night in his crib which is a HUGE accomplishment for us and I am THRILLED about. The only problem is he cries every half hour to hour starting at about 3am (He goes down about 8-8:30). I know he is not hungry because as soon as I give him his binky, he calms down and falls back asleep. Then the binky falls out of his mouth, he wakes up and cries again and there starts the vicious cycle for the rest of the night. He is not old enough (3 1/2 months) or able to realize how to give himself back his binky.
Any advice on how to get through this? I am so tired from being up every hour to give him his binky.
I guess duck taping it to his mouth is out of the question j/k

Unfortunately, I don't have an answer for you... with both DC, we just put up with it until they figured out how to find it on their own.... we put 3-5 pacis in the crib, hoping it would increase their odds of finding one.
We would often put DD down with one in her mouth, and one in each hand....

smae here, we just kept giving it back to him until he learned to stick his fingers in his mouth. He forgot all about the binky.....not that I am in love with him sucking on his fingers either....

DD did this the first few times she was in the crib in her own room. It just got less and less with time. She still wants it in the beginning of the night but she's usually ok when it falls out now.

DS does the same thing. He sleeps at 9:30 and then around 3 he wakes up and wants the binky. He wakes up every 15 minutes until about 4 and then he stops. this happens about 3 times a week. i wish i could figure out how to prevent this!
