We had a tough night with Mikayla last night
She was fine all day...I put her to bed at her usual, 7:30 and she was crying, crying, crying. I went in there and was going to sit down in the rocker to rock her and she freaked out....she cried hysterical from 8-11pm when she finally passed out from sheer exhauston (sp)
me and dh took turns holding her for that 3 hour span.....hope tonight is better
my poor baby, she was congested so I am not sure if that was what was making her so cranky

DD is also starting with a cough and cold, I swear it goes away for a month and then comes back.

Oh, I'm sorry to hear this. It's hard to see them so upset and not know what's wrong. Hopefully she is feeling better today and is not sick.

awwwww, I do hope tonight is better for all of you! SO hard when the babies are sick, and we just try to make them feel better.

Aww this happened to Megan a couple of weeks ago.
She was congested and uncomfortable. Then I felt like the worst mother ever because I put saline in her nose and it must have dripped back into her ear and she started to scream. It lasted a couple of hours.
Finally I gave her a warm bath. Put the humidifier on..put childrens vics on her chest and she finally knocked out. She woke up the next day much, much better.
Its awful when they arent feeling well.

We had a night like that last week. Crying for hours. Nothing you can do. It was SO sad. Fortunately for us it was only one night.

oh yeah, she's been cutting all 4 for over a month  one is already in
but she is hardly ever cranky....

That sounds EXACTLY like Ava when she was getting her molars last year. She was a wreck at bedtime. Fast forward a year, and we're going through it again with the 2 year molars
I hope tonight is better!

I know how you feel. I think it is definetely her cutting her molars. Tyler always has 3 or 4 bad nights when a tooth is breaking through his gums.

Thanks, I gave some motrin and orajel....she cried for like 10 minutes, babbled for another 10-15. I then went to the store for a few minutes and she was sleeping when I got home
