Thank you girls....
The nurse yesterday tried to make me feel better by saying, "We've only had 2 Trisomy 18 cases this year, so everything might be ok." I responded, "Well, you had only seen 1 anencephaly case in the entire run of the practice, and I was the second, so forgive me, but that does not make me feel any better."

You and your baby are in my thoughts and prayers. Can you go for an amnio to see? Sometimes they can get the results in 3 days ( I believe with the FISH test).

We could get an amnio, but that just makes me even more nervous.

Try to keep in mind that there is a relatively high false positive for those tests, that's what my OB told me so I didnt even get the AFP done with my second DS.

I hope that everything is okay, maybe the test just had a false positive. I will be for you and keeping my fingers crossed that everything is okay. Please keep us posted.
