If you are/had to use progesterone support
For how many weeks did your doctor have you on it? I started it a month ago and my doctor told me I can stop it when I am 10 weeks, which is May 4. I am nervous to stop!

I am currently using it for my second pregnancy. I am hoping to use it up to 14 wks. Last pregnancy I used it that long. I was just so paranoid if I stopped using it I would miscarry. It turned out fine, I have a crazy 2 year old now. I know your body starts producing it at 9-10 wks, but just to make sure my doctor said it was ok to take it a little bit longer.

I started it at around 6 weeks, was off it just before 10 weeks

And when you stopped it there was no bleeding or anything? Do they test your levels again?

I was on progesterone supplements (vaginal suppositories) from Week 5 through Week 12.

I am on progesterone in oil through my IVF clinic and then one of my other Dr's would like me to take 200 mg of oral until 16 weeks(that seems like a long time to me since everything I have read says the placenta provides all progesterone from 12 weeks on-but hey I'm not the one with the medical degree )

I am almost 8 weeks and I am still on it....I do the IM shots....will find out on Monday if I continue or stop....

I started mine the first week I found out I was preggo, which was at 4 weeks was on it up to 11 weeks. I am 15 now. I was on prometrium.

Nope no bleeding at all (I didnt bleed at all this pg) but since my # dropped slightly and I had a previous losses my Dr thought it best that I go on the suppositories.
He monitored me 2x a week, weaned me from twice a day to once at day and then when I came off completely my levels were great.

Forgot to add, I was just put on progesterone injections. I am on bedrest for the shortening of my cervix.

Dr. Greenberg did, I wanted to be on it longer but he told me said that it wasnt necessary.

I am on 4 vag caps and 1ml im injection from doing IVF since early mar I am 9 weeks now I will probably be on the IM for 2-3 more weeks and keep the caps for a while after that if the Dr sees that it is going low chances are that they wont stop it mine dropped last week so they increased it and I was fine theoretically the placenta should take over after 10 weeks but I am sure they would keep you on a supplement if need be
