ahhhhhhh I can't decide which bottles to use
I am choosing between the Playtex drop in, Born free or the soon to be Dr. Brown's BPA free ones.

Re: ahhhhhhh I can't decide which bottles to use
I just bought the drop ins and I have to say that I love them. They are so easy to use and come in pretty colors Also there is a lot less to wash! DD had Dr. Browns and Avent but seems to have made the transistion without a problem to the Drop in's !

I am choosing between the Playtex drop in, Born free or the soon to be Dr. Brown's BPA free ones. I ordered Gerber clear view bottles yesterday , b/c few people told me they really like them , if they don't work I am going to order dr.brown glass bottles and see.

I love the Born Free. They are also easier to clean than Dr. Browns

Re: ahhhhhhh I can't decide which bottles to use
Ayla has the dr. Brown bottles and I didn't want Amelia to use the same one's (trying to avoid problems since they are only 10 month apart.) So I bought born free and I absolutley love them.
They fit perfectly in my hand, they are easy to clean and Amelia does great on them. Even though I am a fan of playtex and dr. Browns, Born Free is definitley my favorite and DH's favorite too.
Oh and having them on different bottles worked like a charm.

Re: ahhhhhhh I can't decide which bottles to use
DS was on the Dr. Browns and did well on them. DH thinks we should use those. I am kind of leaning toward the Playtex but DH doesn't want the extra expensive of the drop ins. My only concern with the Playtex is that we will be using powdered formula and it will be annoying to mix.

The only thing we didnt like about the Born Free is that the nipple seemed big.

I used drop ins with powder only and it was never annoying to mix. No more annoying then mixing it in another kind of bottle.

Re: ahhhhhhh I can't decide which bottles to use
I will be using the Dr. Browns BPA Free. Andrew did so well on them so why switch
And just in case you didn't see my post yesterday, BRU has them in the stores already.
They are $12.99 for 3 9oz bottles.

They do? I was just there over the weekend and did not see them. Which BRU did you go to?

Re: ahhhhhhh I can't decide which bottles to use
I have Dr. Browns and Born Free and I think that everything about Dr. Browns is superior (except the BPA). The nipples are more consistent. With Born Free, I feel that some of their #1s flow different than others. Dr. Brown's bottles have better labeling to tell how many oz. your baby took. They also have much better travel covers and nipple caps. The nipple cover for the Born Free is flimsy and for that price it should not be. The Br. Brown's tall bottles are our favorites. When DS was so tiny, the wide necks would cover his whole face. We still do not like holding wide neck bottles and DS seems to prefer the tall, too.
