Bought our breast pump today...
... and I'm totally freaked out! I went and met with the lactation consultant who will be at the hospital when we deliver and she said to bring it with me when we deliver.
It's really scary looking!! DH even gave a little shudder when I was opening all the parts to clean them..

sigh.... I'm not looking forward to that part either.... I know those darn things must hurt.... we're not cows! I digresss....
At least it is good that the lactation consultant will help you out with it... things should go much more smoothly for you with the pump....

Nope. Actually really simple. I just took all the pieces apart to stick them in the sterilizer.
Did you get the Medela one? We got the Pump N Style advanced...

Did you get the Medela one? We got the Pump N Style advanced...
Laura you will LOVE the Pump in Style Advance!! That's what I bought in the hospital after I delivered and its so great and easy to use! I was so petrified of it at first, that I didn't even take it out of the box. But I was amazed at how easy it was to use and how it didn't hurt at all. Great purchase!!!

Pumping is great I found it to be the funniest thing ever same with DH . You think you have 1 or 2 holes in the nipple then bam your looking like your a sprinkler system I cant wait to do it again LOL Im easily ammused
