Anyone replace skylights
I'm looking to replace the skylights in my den and I was wondering if anyone has done this and could share how much it cost

Re: Anyone replace skylights
I bought my house with a leaking skylight so I actually got the entire thing removed all together.
I can give you that info if you want, but I did not get estimates to just replace it.

DH replaces them, make sure you get stepped flashing not just one piece when you get it done... I cant tell you how many times the non stepped ones have leaked!

I'm also planning on redoing the roof at the same time so would the roofer do that or the window person...I'm so confused

Re: Anyone replace skylights
My roofer did when I redid my roof last year. I think I paid about $1000 a skylight.

Roofer should be able to do it.
I hired a Roofer to take it out when I had it done and did not need to get a seperate glass or window contractor
