Spitting up formula...
Ryan seems to enjoy his bottle, but tends to spit some formula up. Is that normal? Gosh I am such a nervous mom.

It's completely normal for babies to spit up. It might be a sign that he needs to burp more frequently or might need less formula.
Unless he seems to be writhing in pain, arching his back, crying at feedings, etc., then I wouldn't worry

Completely normal. It gets to be less and less as they get older. As long as the baby doesn't seem to be in pain, you're fine.

Spitting up is completely normal.
If he is spitting up a lot, his stomach may be already full. I learned that I was mistaking my son's cries for hunger when he was actually tired. So I was "overfeeding" him. While some people don't feel you can overfeed a newborn (they eat every 2-3 hours for breastfeeding), you can. The way I could tell is he would spit up A LOT - barely curdled too (sorry -TMI).
Just an FYI - if it's curdled that means it's been in his stomach long enough & he is throwing up, not spitting up.
Also walking around unknowlingly with spit up on you is completely normal too.

This is exactly what our doctor just told us. My son is 4 mos old and recently he has started to consistently spit up after each feeding. The dr said it's ok as long as he doesn't seem to be in pain. The dr also mentioned that it tends to peak between 4-6 months...

Both of my kids were happy spitters. They spit up after EVERY feeding, regardless of whether I burped them a million times or not. They were just fine. I did put a little rice cereal into their bottles and that helped keep it down some too.

DS is a spitter upper. HE spits up with every burp every bottle. He spits up 2 hours after his bottle.
DR said to try lowering his oz per feeding and keeping him upright for longer after his bottles. None of that really had an effect. She said otherwise if he is not uncomfortable there isnt much to be worried about as he is gaining weight nicely and happy.
DS's spit up is better when he sleeps through the night and skips one bottle all together, although it is never gone!
If he has a bad day of spitting up, I put some rice cereal in his last bottle.
