Anyone have a Miele or Sebo vacuum?
What do you think of them? I have a lot of animals (DH is a veterinarian), and very bad allergies to EVERYTHING, including they typical spring time allergens.

My Miele canister is great on the hardwoods but I prefer an upright in the one room we have w/w carpet.

Same here except we have tile. I loooove the Miele. It picks up so well.

Thanks ladies! I have all hardwood, except for our basement, which has a low pile/industrial type carpet. We also have one area rug that I cannot get vacuum up the pet hair.
I went to a Miele dealer in Setauket, and really liked the canister, Callisto; the price is a little steep, close to $800, so before I make a decision, I need to do a little more research.
Thanks for all the opinions.

I have a Miele TT Cat and Dog and its amazing, super quiet, comes with a whole load of attachments, and the everyday attachments live right onboard! Its great. The bags are pricey, but I buy them on Ebay and get lots at a time. Its a canister.

I have had a Miele and wasn't impressed with it at all. I didn't think it held up well at all. I had a Kenmore canister which was a fantastic vacuum and would highly recommend it.

If it's a Miele upright vacuum cleaner it's not made by Miele.. It's a panasonic with a Miele sticker on it. Those are also sold under the Kenmore name.
