Our rehearsal dinner for our wedding was in the garden room. Everything was so nice and the food was great!

I threw my friend's bridal shower there a couple years ago and it was great. The brunch was yummy.

If it's the room on the right side it was very nice. The food is served in a buffet outside by the front entrance.

My bridal shower was at the Garden Grill. It was a lunch in the room downstairs to the right. Sit down style, not buffet...perhaps that is just the brunch?

I went to a bridal shower there in 2006. It was lovely. The food was good, the atmosphere was nice and everyone had a good time. In fact, I enjoyed the food so much that last year DH & I took our mothers there for Mother's Day to tell them we were expecting.

Re: did anyone have a shower at the garden grill in smithtown?

I worked there for a while when I was really young.. and I also went to a friends shower there last summer..

I agree with what everyone else said.. BUT I am suprised no one mentioned how small it is.. IDK how many people you are planning on having.. but I do remember that when my mom threw my baby shower we went and looked there and I remember them saying we could fit a certain amount of people and us thinking there was just no way..

It's a BEAUTIFUL room.. but so small

(I'm refering to the upstairs room.. that's way they offered us)

we were offered the downstairs room and we'll probably end up with 30 people or so. too small??

I would go in to look at it.. I'm not so sure if they are talking about to the left or right of the downstairs

With 30 ppl the upstairs is out of the question..

The food is really go.. go in and check it out.. usually they can arrange the seating the way you want also..

I had somewhere in the high 20s at my shower...maybe 30 people? The downstairs room was a perfect fit for that and the food was great. Atmosphere is perfect for a shwoer, it's a very "girly" place. The ONLY problem was that the bathroom is up a whole bunch of steps which was a problem for grandmas with walking problems. Perhaps there was a way upstairs that was handicap accessible? I'm not sure....
