We had a scary night.
Lyndsey, my almost 5 year old, threw up while still in a deep sleep. She was on her back, mouth full of vomit and wasn't breathing. DH heard a gurgling sound and ran in her room...he was standing there shouting at her to wake up, I heard him and ran upstairs and immediately flipped her over and then sat her up and shook her a bit. She finally took a breath and woke up. Poor baby needed a bath only about 2 hours after her last one. She was covered. Yuck.
It totally freaked me out. I got NO sleep last night because I was in her room every few minutes checking on her. I wonder why/how she slept through that. ...?????
Now I can add this to my growing list of worries.

OMG how scary but quick reaction from both you and your DH Definitely something to bring up to the pediatrician. I wonder if it has to do with hoe deep kids sleep  Hopefully you never have to go through that again.

Holy crap! HUGS, Mel...I cannot even imagine how scary that must have been.
See? This is why I refuse to take the baby monitor out of my almost 6 yr. old's room!!!! DH thinks I am nuts...wait until I tell him what happened to poor Lyndsey.
