Round Ligament Pain v Braxton Hicks
I am almost 28 weeks. I have been getting some sudden sharp pains in my lower abs lately.
They are similar to the pains I had during the first trimester, and that disappeared in the second trimester.
Is this round ligament pain again? Braxton Hicks? What is the difference?

If you're concerned - def. call your MD. If they're BH, I think if you drink some water and lay down and keep track of it, they should subside.

I have an appt with my dr this week. I will speak to her about it.
The truth is I'm not really concerned. The pain feels just like what I had in the first trimester. I just wanted some confirmation that it is was the round ligament pain again.

I have the same thing from time to time (more frequently though in the past few weeks). My dr. said it was round ligament pains from my belly growing.
