Went to Fridays in Levittown.
Service Sucked! 
We always go to fridays. I have like 13000 gold points. We got seated at the bar cause they were busy. Our waiter comes over. Takes our drink Order. Comes back we order appetizers. Then comes back when we decided what we wanted for our meal.
Our Dinner comes out never got our appetizer. So we said we were suppose to get our appetizer.. Took it back appetizer comes out. We eat then our dinner comes back out.
I finish my husband is still eating. The guy asks if he is still working.  He had a RIB IN HIS MOUTH! He's like uh ya  Then my Dh had to ask for a refill. The waiter asks if I would like desert I was like ah maybe and he stands and waits. I was like im going to wait until he's done. He leaves comes back and asks again. I was like uh he's still eating. COMES back again as my hubby is still eating. He says' "wow you guys are diligent" cause we didn't know what we wanted I was like he's still eating he doesn't know what he wants yet. He stood there WAITING... AKWARD.. I finally like threw my empty cup at him and was like you can get me a refill (it was empty since he took my plate)
He kept rushing us.
Then he gives us the check and im like I feel bad leaving a crappy tip and my dh is like he doesn't deserve one... He comes and stands there for me to finish signing. Im like "im not done yet" I left him 5.00 My dh is like he's lucky it wasn't me I would have left him 0 
OH ya ETA: 2 groups of people from the bar asked him if they could sit at the tables around the bar. He said you had to be seated there (like we were) but they could sit there but keep it between them. DUDE Id be so mad if I was waitng 30 minutes and got cut.

I am assuming it will be nuts for a while on weekends.
Most people don't go out on Wednesday night like on a Friday or Saturday.

Most people don't go out on Wednesday night like on a Friday or Saturday.
ya they opened this week. But I have to admit it was no where NEAR as busy as Westbury!!

We were there Wednesday, too. But, there was a 40 minute wait and there was no way my kids were going to wait so we went to Five Guys.

They may have been short staffed due to the snow and maybe did not expect a crowded night.
Sorry it was a bad experience.

Good point.. But the bar had at least 6 bartenders. They had 4 host and hostesses and the even had 2 people standing at the doors to open them for you.

I would be sooo pizzed if they were telling people to sit down if they wanted to avoid the wait--I would be livid!

That's actually why I don't go to Fridays on the weekends. 
But gees, this bartender really couldn't take the hint - you told him how many times DH is still eating.

Sometimes the service at the bar area is just worse. It's happened to us at Chili's. I think it's b/c there are only 1 or 2 waiters covering and they want to get everyone out quickly. It's not always the case, but when we have sat at the bar we get slow service.

although i find that amusing and it made me giggle, i just have to say for those that might get the wrong impression that westbury is NOT ghetto!!!!  thank you for listening.

Wow, they are open already? My last trip by it must have been longer ago than I remember- last time I was there it seemed ages from being ready! Next time we visit my parents I'd like to go.

I guess you missed that post Someone works at the macaroni grill in westbury and said she got bad tips and it's because of the people that come in... She said it's in the ghetto!

I went to Friday's in Islandia a few weeks ago with some co-workers and the service was awful!!!!! and it wasn't even that busy.

I COMPLELETY AGREE WITH YOU
i went last night with DH and a couple friends..
WELL... i called ahead around 6:15 and they said it will be an hour and a half.. so we show up after an hour... we got there and they said my name was not on the list and i must have called the wrong restaurant.. WELL.. i showed them proof on my cell, and they said we just had to put our names on the list..
long story short... we waited another hour! we kept complaining to them.. we would have walked out but we were still waiting on another couple to arrive.. but its just the point and terrible service

BUTT the waiter told us that as of next week they are getting rid of the gold points!!!!

We went last night around 10pm. Got a table after a few minutes of waiting. Our waitress was horrible.....The food was good though. She did give us extra dessert to go because she didnt know someone already brought it out for us, and she didnt charge us for the coffee.
The restaurant is just starting, so it isnt going to be perfect yet....
