Oh Liza!!!!  I'm so sorry, but I'm just glad that he's OK!!!!! 
I know it's hard, but you can't think "what if", it'll make you crazy!! Just be glad that Cailen wasn't in the car, that he was safe in his crib.

OMG!!!!!
I know that stretch of roadway very well.
It is VERY dangerous at night and in bad weather w/o a total jerk like that.
I shudder to think I used to drive on that road at all hours of the night coming back from the bars in Huntington to Plainview when I used to live there
He is VERY, VERY lucky
About 15 years ago my brother's friend was in an accident where Woodbury road merges, just north of the Cold Spring Harbor train station. He was 19 years old and is a quadrapeligic
I get the chills every time I'm at that turn.

I guess the other driver quickly learned that he is not more important than anyone else. Was he seriously hurt? hopefully everyone else involved is okay and a lesson will be learned.
