Not really. I'll do it if it is expected, but I'm a hugger. It feels more genuine to me, for some reason.

I'm not, but since my DH has a big Italian family, I've gotten used to it. But I still don't kiss. I lean in and let them kiss me and I just make a kissy sound with my mouth usually. I don't know. I just never grew up kissing. How about all of you?
Same for me. I give the hug and the fake kiss - I didn't grow up doing anything other than hugs unless it was my parents I was greeting.

I think so. In both my and DH's family we kiss one and other helloa dn good bye, on the cheeks.

I do, and usually on both cheeks. We are Israeli and have a lot of sephardic (middle eastern/european) friends. Its a cultural thing.
