We had a wedding last night. And of course someone had on the same dress as me. Never fails lol

that is the WORST! it happened to me at my senior prom!!
talk about a girl's worst nightmare!
BUT - the good thing was: it was the same dress but in a different COLOR - so, i wore a cranberry red - very rich and it was a beautiful gown - and the other girl who wore the dress bought it in a seafoam greenish iridescence mixed w/ a lilac color - it was  to the point where it made it look like a COMPLETELY different dress - my gown was so elegant and this just looked - well, cheap  so, it was a blessing in disguise - no one even noticed except me and i had to take a close look after my initial "double-take".

really, you are trashing a girl with the same taste as you.
I know it would probably be initially mortifying, but in the end very flattering.

The bridesmaids wore light blue and she had it on in hot pink. It was definitely noticeable though!

I did that a few years ago to a wedding I went to. The bridesmaids were wearing it in black and I had it in red.
I was so embarrassed

it was the same dress though right so was it cheap or very rich???

I had that happen once. Except the person who was wearing the dress was my SIL and we sat next to each other at the same table. We told everyone we were stand in bridesmaids.
