Prenatal Vitamin Help Needed!!
I received quite a few samples of a few different brands of prenatal vitamins from the dr. today and will be starting to take some tomorrow. I have not experienced any m/s yet (knock on wood!!!) but my stomach does tend to be sensitive. Do any of you ladies take any of these that you recommend? Have you had any side effects from any of them? I have heard taking them with dinner in the evening helps with the upset stomach, so I think I will try taking it then. All input welcome!! Thanks so much!

I have not taken any of those but I just wanted to suggest that if you do have some nausea from it you may want to start taking it at night right before you go to bed. That's what I do and I find that it does not bother me at all that way. Good luck!

i take the duet DHA chewables - and i have had NO problems at all. usually even multivitamins give me and upset tummy but these don't at all. i take them every night right before bed with some water and i'm fine.

I take the Rite Aid prentals with an extra DHA supplement (Expecta). My Dr said it is just as good as one of the premium prescription prenatals. I just bought a huge bottle (300) of them for $9. Can't beat that. I take them at night before bed and have never had a problem.

I take PrimaCare 1. I absolutely love this one. I have had no problems with this prenatal.
When i was first trying some of the different samples, some gave me stomach aches and some made me constipated.

I am now taking the Prnate Elite. I had an allergic reaction to the Duet DHA. So far no problems with the Prenate and I have been on them for 5 days now.

I take the Target Brand pre-natals. My Dr. didn't even ask me what brand I was taking so I am assuming they are fine.

I take Prima Care One, and I take it right before I go to sleep, and I have no problems with it upsetting my stomach.

I have taken prenate elite since the beginning. I take it at night before I go to bed. I took in the morning a few times and it gave me indigestion.

Prenate Elite is the best. No side effects what so ever and you can take it anytime of day with or without food.

I used to take Duet DHA, but it made me nauseous (you have to take it on an empty stomach).
I switched to Natelle EZ, which has been great. No side effects.

I was taking Duet but I had AWFUL constipation problems. Using Prenate Elite has been easier on my digestive track.

I just take target prenatal with expecta (a DHA supplement).
It's best to take the vitamins after a meal (maybe dinner).... becuase then more of the vitamins will be absorbed along with the food....
this is especially true for DHA (a fat)
