PLESE HELP: DIGITAL CAMERAS (Anyone have these?)

RECOMMEND YOUR MODERATELY PRICED ONE!
I want one that is good, no red eye, blurry, is quick, etc.

I have the Sony Cybershot. It's a great little camera and it has a touch screen which is very nice!
I hardly use it anymore because I have a Nikon d40 SLR. If I knew then what I know now about cameras, I would have just went straight for the SLR.

You're not going to get "quick" from a compact. they all have shutter delay and delay between shots.
I think the Fuji Finepix line is very very good!

Are you now thinking about getting an SLR or still set on the compact digi?
The SLR will be a significant jump in price, but IMO worth it. The SLR will last forever.

oooooh in that case, if you interested in a Fuji Finepix, I was about to sell my old one on ebay. Its 5.1 megapixels and has a 2gb card.

i have the kodak M853.
i LOVE it!!
DH bought it for me to take on our HM.. the pics came out very clear and crisp.. no red eye problems... its great!
