Ash Wednesday Reminder
For those of you who are Catholic/observe ash wednesday....
My DH just reminded me, no meat today...just thought I would remind everyone because I certainly forgot!

Yes. Fish does not. Everything else counts.

I always count chicken as meat (but I am no expert). I think only fish is allowed...

hence why I had rice & beans for lunch and we're doing pizza for dinner. Thanks for reminding folks. I still need to get ashes on the way home.

You know, this is odd, but I just felt like eggs aren't allowed...since chicken isn't. Call me crazy...
Also, with Lent, today and on Fridays you're supposed to fast -- meaning one big meal and no eating between meals. The other two meals should be small meals, if any...like toast for breakfast, soup for lunch...that kind of thing.
