thanks for all your thoughts and prayers
the funeral was yesterday... it was just a very bizarre day- it was sooo hard to see my dad and his brothers- all three of them are these rough and gruff, blue color guys- all crying yesterday. my dad was hugging my sister and i at the cemetary, crying, saying " and you're grandpop is buried right here, too, and your great grandparents"....
and my cousins who i haven't seen in 15 years ( my uncle and his wife got a divroce and it was very bitter and the kids haven't had contact with him since then) they all showed up yesterday, so it was just really wild to see them after so long. we all ended up staying at the restaurant for lunch afterwards for like 4 hours catching up and unwinding.
i ended up taking today off work, too just to unwind and recover from it all.
but thanks again for all your thoughts and prayers- they really mean a lot
