How many gallons?
I say do ebay first with p/u as the only method.
Then craigslist if it doesn't sell. Craigslist creeps me out.

Def 100% do craigslists. Its cash & carry and for an item like that, its the cheaper way to get rid of it.
Plus, its free. I feel more local eyes are on craigslist especially when it comes to furniture type items, which this is.

I'd do the ebay with local pickup only. I recently sold a yamaha quad and a full sized jukebox both local pick-up. One guy came from Delaware to p/u, so if its a good item at a great price, it will sell. Craigs list just creeps me the he** out

Craigslist. It's free to list and you know local people will see it. I've sold/ given away stuff w/o problem.

Craiglist - we sold a refrigerator, a motorcycle, 2 cars and now a timeshare on craigslist. Bought a few things too.
It's local so much easier.
