Anyone's feet ever shrink?
I have been a 7 1/2 in shoes FOREVER.
Recently, I have to buy a 7 or a 6 1/2 to get a good fit.
My weight has stayed the same, my body overall has stayed the same.
How can I explain these incredible shrinking feet?

They are never shrinking - only growing  and since I'm already an 11 - I worry about the fact that everyone tells me they will grow more when I have kids.

The only thing I can think of is possibly some osteoporosis. Take your calcium!
or, maybe the shoes that you are buying are cut big? Are you finding your old shoes big now?

Yeah, my feet definitely move around in them more.

For some reason I immediately started thinking about how we'd all wear Keds with no socks in the summer back in the day and how badly it stunk...
...no matter HOW much baby powder you put in them!

I thought mine did - I used to be the same size as you in all brands but, I have found that certain manufacturers are cutting their shoes bigger than they have in the past (9 west is a good example).

YES! I am a 7 and have had to buy 6.5 the last few pairs. I just assumed that shoe sizes were being resized smaller like clothing sizes. I feel like the incredibly shrinking woman!

It's happened to me...I used to be a 6 1/2 regardless of the shoe...
Now the 6 1/2 are sometimes too big and I have to buy a 6. I think they are just making the shoes bigger.
It's nice to know I'm not alone in this!

yes! i was always a 8 1/2 or a 9, now i can buy shoes in 7 1/2 and 8 that fit comfortably. sooo strange

I swear mine shrank after I gave birth to Jackson. I was always a 9, but then after I had him I'd put on my shoes and they'd pop off the back of my heel. So now I have to wear an 8 1/2. Weird!!! (some of my shoes were new, so I know they hadn't stretched out).
Oh well, gave me an excuse to go shoe shopping!

Actually, I don't think your feet are shrinking... I have a feeling they are going toward more vanity sizing with shoe sizes, too!

I thought I was along too. I've been mentioning it to a few people that I use to be a size 6 1/2 -7 and now I'm wearing a 5 1/2 - 6. I even have a pair of 5's!!
