I'm just so tired of this HB.....
This is my 3rd time up tonight from this damn heartburn....
Can't I just catch a break???? I didn't even have to go the bathroom this much tonight!

 I feel your pain. Have you tried Zantac? I heard that helps when you've outgrown Tums. Feel better.

No... I haven't used the Zantac.
I am a freak - Even tho it's ok to use... I am seriously trying to limit what I put into my body.... Stupid, I'm sure!!!!! As I'm putting the Tums into my body every day.
29 days and counting..........

I don't blame you. I try to limit my meds too, although, tums has become a regular necessity!

I know u may be trying to avoid extra pills and such -- but I've been in the same boat as u for the past few weeks and i finally gave in and took Zantac. Can I just tell u that I've never slept better?!?
You're in the 3rd trim....it's okay to use the Zantac. Just use it at night, not around-the-clock. I use Zantac 150. I now swear by it. My Tums and Maalox have been put away in the closet for good.

I had heartburn at the end of my pregnancy and something that really helped me was sleeping with my upper body on an incline, it was harder for the acid to reach (what felt like) my throat. Also, I look a liquid antacid, and that was a godsend....even though it tasted gross, the relief was instant.
Feel better!!!

i have been getting really bad hb, but haven't resorted to zantac just yet. i have been taking papaya & pineapple enzymes which you can get at trader joes or any health food store. they seem to work better than tums and are all natural...
