I told my boyfriend I DON'T want him looking anywhere near there. His response "How can I not see my child being born?" I will try my absolute best to keep him away.

Just DH. I can't imagine having anyone else in there with me!
In situations like that I want to be alone with DH. If I had anoyone else it would be my 8 year old. But even that is a no no!

I keep going back and forth on this - can't decide if I want my mom in there with us too. I kind of just want to share it initially with my boyfriend and then have my mom come in.

Not my DH. He was fascinated looking down south. The second I said I had to push, that was it! He took his eyes off of me and focus down there. He studied every last minute of it (placenta coming out, being stiched etc) that he could probably deliver this one god forbid I didn't make it to the hospital. He is insane.

I told dh if he wants to stay in the room he has to stay up by my head the entire time, and if he even ventures south I will banish him from the room

Just DH... and I really dont even want him in there. 
He's also been told that he stays by my head the whole time and he is more than happy not to move from that spot.

DH, my midwife, my doula. That's it.
I  at the thought of anyone else.
And like pp, I don't want anyone even coming in to see us until I am out of L&D and into my room.

She'd criticize me and tell me I was doing it all wrong and I wouldn't have enough energy after all that pushing to kill her.

Same here. I'd cry. I told DH that he is to maintain eye contact at all times. If he breaks eye contact, it will be grounds for being ejected from the room. I may just have to draft a contract to that effect.

God willing mom will make it to her delivery..... She only has Winter break off from her school - she can't take off sooner than that.

I would insist on DH being there so that he can see my pain first hand. It will be easier to always hold it over his head that way.
