Had my first trip to L&D yesterday
I had posted the other day that I went for my first internal last friday and was already 2-3 cm dilated and 70% effaced. Well of course this weekend I started getting contractions. Nothing was regular and it was only in the evenings and if I laid down and relaxed they would stop. So I didn't call me Dr. Yesterday I went into work and from 8 am to 10:30 am I was getting really bad pains in my back and abdomen (like menstral cramping). I called my DR and she told me to go L&D and she would meet me there. Since I was already dilated this may be early labor. The monitor me and the contractions stop when I lie down (I had a few but nothing really in an hour). So she does an exam and the baby's head is really low. I am still the same 2-3 cm dilated. She said that since he is so low when I stand or sit up, his head is putting pressure and causing me to contract. So I am officially on modified bedrest and I working from home until I have the baby. The Dr. thinks if I rest I will make it at least to 37 weeks (a week from Thursday) or possibly later. I have been sitting here with my feet up all day and already I am getting stir crazy.

I'm glad to hear you are okay, but sorry to hear you are on bedrest. I could understand the stir craziness. Hang in there!

Hang in there, although its tough to sit around and do nothing its the rest you're going to need after the baby comes!
At least you have internet at tv!
