Oh the pimples!!!
I am in my 6th week and my chest is breaking out so bad!!! I never get pimples! How long will this last?? Anyone have any good creams or washes that help with break outs? I have tried some of my face wash, but it doesn't seem to be working. I think I need something stronger.

I had horrible skin for the first 12 weeks or so. Now in the second trimester my skin is perfect.
Unfortunately, you can't use anything "stronger" while pregnant. No salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, etc.

Unfortunately that was the WORST part of my first trimester. I never had problem skin and during that time I hate to even touch my face it was so bumpy.
My DR said you just have to ride it out and did not want me using my normal washes/creams with salynic (sp?) acid in it.
Hang in there, it should lessen!

Same thing happened to me. I broke out on my face and my back. I had battled acne for years and finally had it under control, so I started to freak out, but it did lessen once I was in my 2nd trimester. Now it's not really a problem.

I feel your pain! Except my pimples are all over my face (luckily by my jaw line and by my mouth).  I've never had such bad breakouts before, not even in high school.

i had bad skin for YEARS and my doctor finally got it under control with something called finacea (azelaic acid). it's actually safe to use during pregnancy (pretty much the only thing i know of that's safe to use). if it gets really bad you can ask your doctor about it but it takes a long time to work (about 4-8 weeks) so it might just pay to wait it out

Throughout my teenage years, college years and now I'm 30, I barely ever had pimples - consider myself lucky! Now at almost 14wks, I have pimples by my hairline and they FREAKING hurt! I also have chest pimples too, ***?!!

I had the same thing around the same time....I still break out on my face but my chest is only every now and then. I actually have 1 on my jaw bone that is a bump and has been there since the very begining and will not go away, you can't do anything with it because it's not like a pimple! I use oil free face wash.

I had them on my upper chest and back.. i used Dove body scrub.. it worked wonders..
are you having a girl? my friend and I had and both had girls, my other two friends also having babys at same time didnt have and had boys.
