I am really showing now. This is my second pregnancy. I love feeling the baby move. I don't where women find the time to do anything. I really need to get my 1yr old into his new room so I can get his room ready for the new baby. Any other may mommies worried about getting things ready in time?

It is totally feeling real now! I do feel like there is so much to do and little time now. Work is getting harder, as the belly is getting bigger.
I do love feeling her move. She has been very active lately, and DH finally got to feel her kick. It was great!
I am really looking foward to meeting her!!!

Hi fellow May mommies! I might see you in the hospital KarenAnthony because I saw in the "Where are you delivering" thread that you are delivering at Winthrop also. I am due May 23rd and I think you were right around the same time.

I had my level II back on January 4th and everything went well. We didn't find out what we are having though. DH and I want to be surprised. Although it's becoming really hard with trying to pick out everything not knowing the sex.

I actually got some 3D pictures done at my level II (free of charge). I can't stop going back to look at the pictures. It definitely feels a lot more real lately with the pictures and the baby moving all of the time. I'm getting really excited!!!Chat Icon

Now I have to get to registering!Chat Icon

Had my level 2 and my 20 week sonograms and everything looks good so I am going to forgo having an amnio. I have been having trouble keeping my thyroid regulated so I am once again very tired. I am definitely showing but on a bright note the growth of my boobs have slowed down finally.

Where are all the May Mommies delivering??

I should be in St. Catherine

Re: May Mommies

Hi everyone.

I am 21 weeks and 3 days. I am a full fledged belly popping, constantly peeing, having trouble finding a sleeping position preggo.

I had the first part of my level 2 on New Year's Eve (I say "first part" because our little baby did not fully cooperate so I had to return yesterday in order to finish the scan).

Anyway..., so far everything looks great!! We do not know the sex, and we do not intend to find out.

I plan to purchase a copy of Baby Bargains next week so that I can do some research before registering.

I am nervous about starting the third trimester in February, but also looking forward to the end so that I can meet my little bundle of joy.

Finally, we put an offer on a house which was accepted. If all goes well we will actually have a nursery ready for our little darling by the time it arrives.

Re: May Mommies

Hi all - I missed checking in with you! As of today I am 20 wks and 4 days. I'm getting so excited now that I am showing and I am feeling the baby move. I have to see the doctor more often to monitor my blood pressure, its been rising so they want to monitor me. Besides that, I had my Level II on Tuesday and all is well! We found out we are having a boy Chat Icon DH is so excited! So now we have to start thinking about registering. I dont even know where to begin.

Is anyone else delivering at Huntington Hospital?

Re: May Mommies

I am 22 weeks. Everything looked great at our Level 2 and if anyone remembers me posting about this... the cyst that showed up on the baby at 18 weeks was gone by the Level 2 (like the dr. said it would be). The baby is STILL A BOY Chat Icon . After 3 confirmations I am finally believing it.
I feel the baby every night now but not so much during the day. I think because I am pretty active dueing the day, I don't notice the movement. But once I sit down after dinner it is non-stop. One thing for sure - he LOVES ice cream! After I eat ice cream he goes crazy in there! I actually saw my belly moving last night.
We are going to buy the nursery furniture this weekend and start to register for the "big" stuff. Then I will go back with my sister and/or mom to finish up.
Our babymoon is scheduled for the first week in Feb so I am looking foward to that!
I am still feeling great, sleeping great, and loving every second of being pregnant. Chat Icon

Feeling good here! The baby is kicking and DH is able to feel it too. We go for our 24w appt. on the 21st and they are going to fit us in for a quick sono to find out the sex of the baby (again!). Last night we had the "girl?" issue so we want to have a more conclusive answer and actually see the "parts"Chat Icon
I think we are going to try and register tomorrow. I'm so excited! and hopefully we are going to begin the process of starting the baby's room...cleaning out the closet, moving furniture, etc...
I'm really enjoying being pregnant and am looking forward to so many things!!!
Last night i had a dream that i gave birth on April 18th! maybe that means i may be an april mommy instead!

Re: May Mommies

Feeling fine here. Back ache has lessened thanks to the yoga DVD and my Bumpil. I get some real strong kicks, mostly first thing in the morning, mid-day and when I lay down to go to sleep.

I'm showing and people are asking me all day "when are you due". A few have reached out to feel (YUCK!), but for the most part it's been good. It's exciting yet nerve wracking at the same time. I have no idea how I'm going to balance being a mom, a wife and a job. We have so much to do to get organized. I'm ordering the crib tomorrow and hopefully completing my registry. Starting to think more and more about the whole delivery thing, but trying to stay positive. DH has been great, very supportive. He loves feeling the baby move. It's getting harder to give myself my Lovenox shots, less to pinch on my sides with the growing belly, the shots are getting old but I'm counting the days till that's over. People are trying to guess what I'm having, that's the fun part.

I'm not "loving" being pregnant, but it is what it is. I'd love a tuna sandwhich on a regular basis, a cup of caffinated coffee and a rubin sandwhich would be great too. All in good time I suppose. I have lots of baby dreams and am trying to embrace what little time we have left without having to tend to a baby.

Finally started changing my last name in preparation for baby... went to DMV today. After I get my new license I'll go to Social Sec. Then the banks, payroll and my insurance.

Re: May Mommies

Hey May mamas!

I'm due with my 2nd child on 5/14. I'll be delivering at Good Sam. I'm definitely showing now...it's like all of a sudden I woke up one morning at I looked really pregnant!

I feel the baby, but no really strong kicks yet. We had our Level II last week and everything is a-OK.

We'll be moving into our new home in February, so both DD and our new little DS will get their own rooms.

My pregnancy has been great so far!

Hi all! Glad to hear everyone's feeling good. I'm feeling great, but still terrified that something will go wrong. I can't wait to have this baby out of the "belly of mystery" and see for myself that he/she is fine. I'm such a worry wart. On a good note, my due date was moved up a week...now 5/14!Chat Icon

Maybe we'll be seeing each other at Good Sam because I'm delivering there too and due May 10!

I've been feeling good. Feeling big lately! It's definitely getting harder to bend down and put my shoes on etc! I got some "baby books" since I figure I should start preparing myself for what comes after pregnancy!
