I just thought of something work related
On Saturday mornings my boss has the hardwood floors waxed. Every Sat. This guy comes in with this machine and polishes them up. The smell is awful but goes away in about an hour. Do you think being exposed to this for about an hour once a week is REALLY bad? I am only 6 weeks and wanted to wait until 12 to tell my boss. What do I do? I though about asking them to have him come on a different day? I hate to tell so soon and ask for accomodations. Once a week isn't too bad right?

Honestly I think you should give your Dr a call. See what thay have to say. But, then again I'm pretty sure they would tell you it is not safe, just to cover themselves in case something happens. Personally I wouldn't feel comfortable being exposed to it soooo early on. But, I also understand your position of not letting them in on your blessing just yet!. Tough position. Is there another area of the building that you could go to while they are polishing the floors? Windows to open? Can you say your have a cold, and need some air? Early lunch break? Any excuse that will let you get out of there?

Thank you. Of course you are of help. There aren't a whole lot of windows that would make a difference. I arrive at work at the same time as the floor guy so I can't exactly take a break  And there is really no where else to go since I have to get to work in that area. 
I'll see what happens tomorrow. Maybe I should just tell and see what THEY suggest. My bosses are very cool and understanding and have been waiting for me to get pregnant, I just don't want them to get rid of me before I am ready to leave this job
